STATE INSPECTIONS
Rhode Island State Inspections are performed Monday - Friday between 8:00 am & 4:00 pm.
The fee for vehicle inspections with a Gross Vehicle Weight of 8500 lbs or less is $55.00 (as of 7/1/2014). These vehicles require a safety and emissions test.
The fee for vehicle inspections with a Gross Vehicle Weight of 8501 lbs or more is $15.00. These vehicles require a safety only inspection.
Trailer Inspections can be performed for a cost of $11.00.
